With no NFL football for at least another few months, the sports betting spotlight is shining bright on basketball this month, with the March Madness betting throughout the week, and the full slate of NBA games scheduled on Sundays. Denver was supposed to take a major step back following the Carmelo Anthony trade with the New York Knicks, but the team has continued to defy the critics and is currently on the inside of the playoff picture in the Western conference. Danilo Gallinari’s back seems to be healing, and that adds another piece to the Nuggets’ team attack. Denver is actually two games above .500 on the road this season, and should be able to get the job done against a Timberwolves’ squad that has performed around .500 at home.

The Jazz on the other hand are fighting just to reach the playoffs in a much deeper Western conference. Unfortunately for a team that is just 6-16 on the road this season, this game won’t help them get any closer.
